the most popular pocket styles below, can be used interchangeably on any

Gripper Pro Pocket (deBeer,
release 4) - released in 2008 offers improved ball control and
enhanced pocket shape. The Gripper Pro strings are white; with
the exception of two synthetic strings in the middle with the
gripper feel and those are the color you select.
This pocket has two synthetic rubber-like textured
middle runners with symmetrical openings and two traditional
leathers, one on each side of the Gripper Pro piece. The Gripper
piece allows for a long-lasting leather like grip. The Gripper
piece holds shape better that other deBeer pockets allowing for
a ball channel in the pocket that works for a stronger more
accurate release.
What is the difference between the Gripper Pro and the Trakker
Pro, as they bought look the same? Not much, bought play
similar. The Gripper Pro runners "grip" a little since
they are kind of sticky. That is really it.
How much does it stick over the Trakker Pro? Really,
negligible. It is the same excellent Trakker Pro and a new name;
and both are sold. |

Trigger Pocket
(deBeer, release 3)
- released around 2005, the trigger pocket has a 5 runner system that is
one of the most accurate and consistent of all their pockets.
It features low profile performance shooting
strings that adjust quickly. It also has 3 preformed synthetic leather
runners. These synthetic leather runners limit stretching. The strings
are all white except for the 3 synthetic runners which are the color you
select.
The main difference
between synthetic leather runners and genuine leather runners is that
the synthetic runners do not stretch, and retain their gripping
qualities when wet.
This pocket features a new 5 runner system that makes this the
most accurate and consistent of all the deBeer pockets. Pre-formed
synthetic leather runners limit pocket stretching. The runners are
slotted for easy stringing and adjustment of the pocket unlike the
pre-sewn, one-piece Trakker pocket. This string can fit any stick. |

Trakker Pro
Pocket
(deBeer, release 2)
- has two natural leathers that are on the
outsides of two synthetic leathers that are sewn together
between them.
Unlike the
Trakker pocket, the Trakker Pro provides a lot of adjustability
in that the center channel thongs can be strung or adjusted to
hang lower than the outside leather thongs. This creates
greater ball retention and shot speed and accuracy. This is
even more accented by the lower sidewalls found on some of
today’s sticks.
It
is ideally suited for deBeer sticks with the low sidewall since
the channels the ball perfectly down the middle, and for girls
sticks, you want the outside leathers to be tight, while the
insides are loose.
The natural leather thongs grip the ball better than the Trakker
over time. Looks like the Hot Pocket from Warrior.
The main
difference between synthetic leather runners and genuine leather
runners is that the synthetic runners do not stretch, and retain
their gripping qualities when wet.
This pocket has two nylon-backed synthetic leather
middle runners with symmetrical openings and two traditional
leathers, one on each side of the Pro piece. This allows for all
possible throw string combinations. Allows for a ball channel in
the pocket that allows for stronger more accurate release |

Trakker Pocket (deBeer, release 1)
- the first
attempt at an alternative to the traditional pocket. The Trakker
is
made up of synthetic leather thongs that are "all" sewn together to
create a pocket that requires very little adjustment and is extremely
weather resistant. This pocket has limited adjustability and compared
to a traditional pocket; however, it is good for beginning players or
players who do not like to have to consistently adjust their pockets.
For intermediate players the Trakker is not preferred because of the
lack of adjustment to the center channel (inside two leather thongs)
since the two outside leathers are sewn to the two inside leathers
(channel). You cannot loosen the inside two leather thongs without
loosening the outside two leather thongs. The synthetic leather thongs
tend to lose their grip on the ball after time. The Trakker Pro
with natural leather grips the ball better.
This is a pre-formed pocket that will not require constant
adjustments or cumbersome knots or lace locks. It features four
tacktified synthetic leather runners with a U shooter. The synthetic
runners do not stretch; they do retain their gripping qualities when
wet. |

Precision Pocket (STX) - this is their premium pocket. They claim it is the
most broken-in pocket in a women's stick. The STX Precision Pocket
is a combination of two natural leathers on the outside with two
pieces of heavy gauge string that run down the center of the
stick head with a spiral pattern of two more strings that go
down the center of them. This pocket has a wonderful feel as it
requires no break in time. For catching the precision pocket
shapes to the ball no matter where -it hits in the head of the
stick. The extra feel of this pocket will build confidence in
the player’s game. Shot speed also increase with the Precision
Pocket due to it’s flexibility and broken in feel. |

|
Web-X Pocket (Brine) - is made of synthetic leathers,
stitched pocket cord and nylon backing. This helps prevent the pocket
from stretching and reduces maintenance. The X-design keeps the ball
higher in the pocket for quick release.
These
pockets are made up of synthetic leather thongs that are sewn
together to create a pocket that requires very little adjustment
and is extremely weather resistant. These pockets do not have
as much adjustability and feel as a traditional pocket but are
good for beginning players or players who do not like to have to
consistently adjust their pockets. |
 |
|
Hot Pocket (Warrior) -

that are on the outsides of two synthetic leathers that are sewn
